A team in any sport looks like they will beat everyone or that they will lose to everyone and then, with no real explanation they either climb out the rut and look like a totally different team or they collapse. The Boys have looked very mediocre the last few games on offense, but you know you guys have seen this happen, all of a sudden a team wakes up for no apparent reason and starts to score at will. This is what makes sports so intriguing.

JJ and Barber can run, our 3 WR's can catch and our QB has shown the ability to look very good. Yes, the OL looks lousy, but with the same guys they have also looked very good. Pettiti has hit a wall, remember he is used to playing only 10-11 games per season, but maybe he gets a second wind. Tucker has shown signs of being a very good player.

You've seen it a million times, you think a team is so superior to everyone else and then they start to lose OR they look average for a period of time and then wake up and start winning.

I am hoping and wishing for the later.

Well somebody throw some cold water on the Boys 'cause they need to wake up this week or they'll have plenty of time in the offseason to sleep.

I hope you're right. And we'll find out very early on Sunday, first offensive series will tell us how the rest of the game will go.

I hope you are right. But when has this actually happened to the Cowboys? History does not favor this complete turn around. Unless the line learns how to block, it is going to continue to be a rough 4 games.

We are what we are.

I was hoping with the young players we have that we'd progress as the season went on. If anything we have regressed. The injury to Flo hasn't helped, but no one else has really stepped up.

The only time I can remember the Cowboys play flat and uninspired and then turn it around was in '95. They were playing poorly in late Nov and early Decemeber, then came back and beat the Giants in the 4th quarter, stomped Arizona on Christmas night and went on to win the SB. Of course that team was loaded with talent and experience.

I don't really see anything that would suggest this team will suddenly "get it" and go on a nice run.

Don't write us off - remember we were played better then the Bronco's but lost out to a missed field goal. We played bad in the Giants game but that doesn't mean we are a bad team just we had a bad game.
