I asked this in the off-season, bringing it up again after Romo's injury. Anyone up for a trade for him? Young QB, played pretty well with no talent around him last year. He is young and could develop into something.

I doubt the price would be cheap, and he knows none of the offense.

I would like for them to trade for him, but I doubt it.

I wouldn't trade for QBs that have about as much upside as Weeden.

Just bring up Moore from the PS. He knows the system.

I wouldn't mind trading for him. But he has no timing with our guys

Yup. Even though MM is their starter, I doubt they'll let go of ZM.

I MO if you trade for a young QB you do it before TV so they can learn the offense. By the time Mettenberger will be of much value, Romo will be healthy

Bring up the kid who played for Detroit. He won like mad at Boise State. And even though he doesn't have a strong arm he's smart & accurate and he's familiar with this offense.

Where did you hear they wanted a first rounder? I might be willing to part with a 3 but that is pushing it. I am not just thinking of getting through while Romo is down. I think Mettenberger could step in after Romo retires.

We are rolling with Weeden for sure.

I'd go with Moore and just bring in Austin Davis.

I think Austin would fit this offense like a glove. He is better than Weeden and just needs a change of pace from what he got from the Rams. Need to trade for draft picks or a replacement for Romo. Just get Austin Davis here and call it a day and move on.
