Zeke appeal hearing over/decision by Monday

So now the Cowboys team is being punished for a players behavior and his right to appeal. Don't see how that flies with the owners. if so, then a decision will be made by Sat.

The league could care less but this is why people are saying we should get a roster exemption until Henderson rules.

I still think in the end its going to stay at 6 games I think if he wants to change it he will have to take them to court

Wow talk about pressure for Henderson, or is there really any doubt he will reduce the sentence to 4 games, this was a given I think before this sham appeal process event started. Zeke going to court if he is innocent. He can't say he is innocent than accept 4 games. He would be admitting guilt IMO

Unlikely, but there are some interesting breadcrumbs out there to suggest it's possible.

The reduced suspension trial balloon.
Jerrys vote of confidence for Henderson prior to the appeal.
Goodell's extension hasn't been finalized.

It's a long shot, but maybe Henderson completely voids the suspension and calls the league out on its investigation. The owners use that to replace Goodell with Henderson to oversee disciplinary issues and cut Goodells pay accordingly.

Take 13 months investigating...only 2 business days to come to a decision. Gotta love the timing in all of this. This sure won't complicate the cut down to 53 players. Nope.

Agreed, if I am Zeke then I fight this tooth and nail. I am just saying that there has never been a DV suspension totally overturned and it's not going to start now

I think they are stalling. I believe they already have their decision, there will be a suspension. They don't want to give Zeke enough time to file the lawsuit and get an injunction to halt the suspension.

I hate that half of this forum is dedicated to legal garbage.

In Goodell's NFL, it's guilty until proven innocent.

If they do extend Goodell with another insane contract then they deserve these types of inconsistent rulings. If they can't see Goodell is in over his head in this position then nothing will.

Does anyone really believe the decision isn't already largely written? The details will need to be filled in, but this whole process is a complete NFL farce.

Would not surprise me at all if we have a decision late tomorrow or Sat.........Henderson heard testimony all day Tuesday, skip Wed, and half day today. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he went into today's proceeding with a good idea how he's going to rule. A Saturday ruling would be a good strategy on his part. This way his decision gets clogged in with a boatload of news from teams roster cut down.

The CBA expires in 2020, no way the players union is ever going to agree to this discipline clause ever again, not after Brady and Zeke both got railroaded.

The league looks good because of the 6 game suspension. Zeke gets cleared by Henderson and his jersey sales jump from 4 to 1. win, win.
