And everyone is happy with their roles, because the team is winning. Nobody is complaining about touches in an offense with plenty of mouths to feed.

Some fans should learn from their example.

On the local sports last night, they were talking about this. The team has a great camaraderie. Zeke is happy for Tony, Tony is happy for Zeke. WR's are happy with the work load each has, and it does not matter which one makes the plays or gets the TD's. Dak spreads the ball around, no favorites.

On the defensive side, they rotate in and out, and the depth guys are holding it up, until the injured guys returns, and they all love it. No player is above any other player regardless of money.

Give credit to the coaching staff for instilling this as well.

He would be. Pollard is incredible.

Zeke is just better at making the small play.

Although Pollard blew a dude up on Coopers TD.
Had too go back and watch. Damn he knocked that dude on his backside. Great block by Pollard.

Cute......so now from a Dak hater I've been promoted to a Cowboy hater?
You need to see a specialist about the anger and hate issues you have within your inner being......
Just messing around....I know you love the Cowboys, you wouldn't be as passionate as you are if you didn't.

And #1 in paychecks cashed. lol

I just think Pollard would be doing just as well if not better if they gave him the opportunity. Our OL has been opening up some large holes the past 2 weeks.

Maybe, but rarely does the relief guy with less touches maintain the same level of productivity when given the lions share. I personally like the balance yesterday of Zeke and Pollard.

Combine Elliott's dedication to his off season back in shape program and becoming the "forgotten man" and you see the results.

He is running with that same determination and power he had in 2016 and he's dying hard.

All offseason, it's been Prescott coming back to health, Gallup's contract year, Lamb's sophomore year and even should Tony Pollard be the RB1. There was little positive about Elliott and shipping him off to some other team seemed to be the consensus of opinion. That served as motivation and he even got some more once the season started.

Prescott was off to a hot start last season, a record setting pace, but was 1-3. What's the difference in this season's 3-1, the run game and Elliott, Pollard, Prescott and Moore deserve the credit.

You saw last night what the lack of a run game did to the most balanced HC in the league.

Something happened while we were debating Prescott's ranking and did the Cowboys have the best set of WR's, real football came back to the Cowboys. The run game and stopping the run still matters as the Cowboys last 3 opponents have discovered.

Sorry but the small play is how an offense functions at a high level and moves the chains.. You know like when we handed it to Pollard on 3rd and 1 and he lost a yard... If that's Zeke he wriggles for the first down. Hell he wriggled for the first down on that challenged play despite being met by two dudes in the backfield but the league clearly wanted to keep viewers watching the game so they upheld the call. Pollard is perfect in his role. I don't think it's any coincidence that we've scored 41 and 36 points in the two games where Zeke has had the lion share of the carries. The offense functions more smoothly when we're riding Zeke.. Pollard is still a little too feast or famine at the moment.. Though this year he is much better than last year.

Craziest thing is that he’s fourth but he isn’t even getting all the carries and pollard has quite a few yards as well

It’s not like Pollard isn’t getting big chunks.

When I say small play I mean 3rd and short and blitz pick up.

1st and 10 Pollard has looked great running the ball right up the middle.

Pollard certainly has his own strengths but Zeke is the bellcow. And Zeke does a lot more of the dirty work of short yardage and blitz pickup. It’s not an either/or deal, we’re blessed to have both.

His durability isn't something talked about but impressive. He missed only 2 games last 3 years

Read one defensive coach saying tackling Zeke takes its toll on defenses by the end of the game. It's why whether he's faster than Barkley or McCaffrey doesn't bother me......so-called speed thing. He's the ultimate complete RB.......

Yes as I said, Pollard is much better running between the tackles this year than he has been in years past. At this point both guys are rolling so I see no reason to screw with it. Moore was smart enough to stick with Tony against the Chargers when he was rollin.. and has stuck with Zeke the last two weeks when he has been rollin. I have no problem with this approach. The important thing is playing winning football. Guys are bought in and it's great to see.. One last thing though is you see a lot of defenders staying on the turf after they tackle Zeke.. You don't get that with Pollard.. Over time tackling Zeke takes a toll on a defense, especially DBs.. Guarantee you 99% of defenders in the league would rather chase Pollard than square up on Zeke..

It’s like saying guys aren’t laying on the turf after tackling Christian McCaffrey.. Who cares? He’s still the best back in football.

Look man.. I don't know what your love affair with McCaffery is but a guy who has never led the league in rushing and has had exactly ONE all pro season in his career THREE SEASONS AGO does not get to hold that title. He had an amazing 2019.. He has played 6 more games than you and me since. He has not been above 3.9 ypc since.. People accuse us of living in the past with Zeke.. somebody is going to have to splain why you're allowed to hang onto McCaffery's one great season and use it to trump what guys like Cook, Henry and Zeke have done in that same time frame. What they are doing NOW while he collects paychecks from the sideline. I mean Zeke averaged more ypc in 2020 (4.0 to 3.8) in the worst year of his career.. But McCaffery is better? Why? Cause he looks better in his sweat suit? GTFOH..

Fully agree, the combination is making this offense and this team better. To me this is not an either or situation we have 2 highly talented player who seem to have the same goal and that is winning football games. Maybe 25 years of not winning a championship has caused people to lose sight of what these guys are out there doing. Fact is we are just a better team with both of these guys behind this OL I have no doubt there will be games that Pollard will have the big day and others will see Zeke but in the end if the end result is winning I will gladly take it
What you say is right. Some of these ***hats would complain about something if we win a SB three years in a row. It’s just how they are.

Glad to see fat boy taking football seriously again. The threat of the riding the bench seems to have worked.

I like playmakers. You like throwbacks.

It’s a big play league and I prefer big play guys like Kamara because that’s how the league is built..

But..

Zeke looks good. This version of Zeke I’m not going to argue against. Much better than fat Zeke.

Hopefully he can start being the in shape version and not the 235 pounder anymore.
