Zeke shouldn't leave the game under any circumstances

Both our backups were well rested. Fresh legs. Empty backfield is all The Red Headed step child dream. Idiot. Hope Dak and Zeke can overcome his big brain game killer decisions.

It just doesn't make any sense.

When you tell the other team "hey I'm going to pass for sure" it makes it a lot easier to stop.

It takes your best player off the field. It makes your rookie QB have to make more reads while he's being blitzed with no last line of pass pro. It clogs up space and throwing lanes (especially in the redzone). And last of all, it doesn't even create mismatches.

Just the dumbest formation for a team whose identity is power run.

No rookie rushing record, less than 25 carries in the playoff game after a bye, and ignored when we get in scoring position. We got what we deserved (3 fgs and an INT).

I don't think it matters. McFadden was more than adequate to fill that role, and he played one snap tonight.

Listen, I've said that most of the year, especially in the 2nd half....He was way underutilized. Empty backfield with short yardage, and not giving him any chance at all to break the rookie record. ED had 68 more carries than EE...68!!! If he had just half that amount of carries he would have broken the record, but in essence the coaching staff kept him from doing it...Hey, I understand that all players, especially backs need rest, but to keep this guy back like that is ridiculous. He only played a half of the Detroitgame and none of the Philly game, heck that's almost a month of inactivity...I'm not saying that he was rusty or anything, for indeed he wasn't, he was his usual productive self, but man, even in games they he did play they underutilized him grossly. The guy is a banger and gets better as the game goes on. JMO.
