I have always been an advocate of a RB by committee with these two. What they did last game was absolutely perfect. Keep both guys healthy as much all year and get the skills of both guys.

As far as his agent it worked to perfection. Jerry caved just as they thought he would. His agent gets an A+.

Fans like me hate it because we know how bad it was for the Cowboys and we are seeing why.

I think sometimes Zeke needs to go to Dak's school of answering questions etiquette. Probably did not want say it like that so people can misinterpret.

Maybe.. but when people are looking for something they invariably find it. No matter what Zeke said people were going to spin it to say what they wanted to hear. I'm with Zeke.. to hell with those people..

Jealousy of another man's salary isn't a point of argument.

I believe we were both on the Cowboyszone.com board during 2016, right? That year was dominated with talk about Romo vs. Dak. The bickering about Zeke really didn't pick back up until his efficiency dropped and the "Zeke is fat" rhetoric began. He had essentially quieted the people down because his play on the field made it pretty stupid to complain about while we were rattling off wins.

"Signing the checks" is an expression that has been around for years. It simple means, the players isn't worried about what fans say or think. Because the fans aren't the ones making the decision.

So to all of those that have turned this saying into... Zeke's money hungry...

It's just a matter of time. I like Zeke but If Zeke doesn't start running harder and finding the holes than he will get less carries. I guarantee that will happen. I love the fact that Zeke is hearing he isn't what he was. Maybe just maybe it will light a fire under him. But I doubt it!

No the mistake was drafting him AND signing him. The offense changed naturally because as the Oline began to fade, Zeke began to fade as Dak and the passing game was beginning to blossom.

Now you have the Oline coming back and Pollard is starting to show what he can do and what guys like you said he couldnt do.

Moore well do whatever it takes to win and score. Its just that running Zeke doesnt accomplish that. Zeke is not a weapon, just a cog in the machine.

Dont really care friend,, just let Moore put the best game plan in place like we have seen the past two weeks and this team will be successful.
Dont care if its Zeke, Pollard, Clement, that hits the 100 yds, or all three combined,, we keep running the ball and its really hard to beat this team.

True but some reporters try to bait players and create controversies. He maybe should have said something like whoever has the hot hand. We support each other and try to push each other to be the best we can be. We are a team and I just want to win a Super Bowl.
If he was reading fans comments, he should have just ignore them. I understand it easier said than done.

Since when has winning actually quieted people down. People who hated Zeke when he was drafted never stopped hating him.. They just had to lay in wait and sit quiet until he stopped leading the league in rushing.. But they never changed their stance.. The problem now is that this new offense is never going to allow Zeke to return to that station among running backs. It's a different philosophy entirely. He is probably never going to lead the league in rushing again.. He's also never going to have a gaudy ypc average because 95% of his carries are up the gut behind a line that is average at best in run blocking. It's not any breaking news that if the Cowboys were going to do this they should not have signed him to the big deal. Maybe Zeke and his agent saw them trending in that direction and decided to hold the Cowboys hostage before it came to fruition. If so they're both smarter than they're given credit for.

I've heard him say all those "correct" responses multiple times and it hasn't changed the narrative one iota. He might have just gotten tired of answering the same stupid questions?

Zeke is without a doubt one of the top five pass protectors and the poster child for RB's blocking. He puts on a clinic each week. You miss out on real talent if all you look at are his rushing yards. He covers up for that Oline that seems to change weekly, yet the protection is mostly still intact. I think you would understand Pollard's contribution to the pass game being only as a wide receiver.

That's a misleading statement by Archer. Zeke didn't say that about Pollard.
