Zeke vs. Saquon Comparison

I'd like to compare our franchise RB with the Giants franchise RB.
We have a very small sample size so far with Saquon in the NFL, but what we can do is compare the two and what they did in college facing similar competition.

Zeke:
Att: 592, Yards: 3,961, Avg: 6.7, TD's: 43
Rec: 58, Yards: 449, Avg: 7.7, TD's: 1

Saquon
Att: 671, Yards: 3,843, Avg: 5.7, TD's: 43
Rec: 102, Yards: 1,195, Avg: 11.7, TD's: 8

Saquon has been called a generational talent, and Zeke wasn't considered in the same class of Saquon, but clearly you can see Zeke has better rushing stats and 1 yard more per carry for their entire careers.

Bottomline I think is what we know, Zeke is the better rusher, Saquon is the better receiver.

What do you guys think?

What is the point of this comparison?

Zeke absolutely was and is considered a "generational" talent.

Yeah I don't want to admit it..........but if I'm just using the eye test?Barkley is incredible. I didn't think he'd transition this fast to the NFL. He has to work for every single yard he gets. And to Zeke's credit? He's had to work for every yard he's gotten this year too. It hasn't been easy for Zeke. At the end of the day teams still have to worry about that Giants receiving core even if Eli is throwing them the ball.

Its like guys slide off of Barkley. I'm not ready yet to say who's the better back between the two becasue ts early but Barkley looks the part. Interested to see what Deadskins get out of Guice next season. Eagles.......who knows what they do.
Bet the Eagles pull the trigger on Levon Bell.
Imagine:
Barkley
Bell
Zeke
Guice
all in the same division. :omg:

Super easy! Zeke plays for us and Barclay plays for the enemy!!

Having staid that, I'm not sure there is anything that Zeke does poorly. Could you even imagine him with McVay?!?

not even close on offensive lines. Giants offensive line is horrendous.
"but Fredrick is out an our offensive line is bad" lmao the giants and skins would trade offensive lines yesterday for the Cowboys. come on now. smh

You’ll probably get more yards from Barkley. He’s a huge run or pass option back. Zeke is more your traditional power rusher.

Zeke was just as hyped as Saquon was coming out of college.

Every year you have some generational talent that comes out. Not so generational, is it? Zeke had the same words said about him coming out.

I honestly don’t remember it that way.

I remember people saying that Zeke wasn’t quite on Gurley’s level and that Fournette was a better talent.

I remember the report on Zeke as being an incredibly great football player with no holes in his game, but not a generational talent.

I think you pay running backs to run and WR to catch

Gonna be some smash mouth football....I think with the Eagles though they want Bell but I think for a rental the price is too high. Unless they want to pay him the money he wants.

Shoot the thing is zeke is a lot better as a receiver than people thought. Barkley will continue to get more chances in the air for the simple reason defenses play off the line because of Odell. Hell there backup had like 6 targets in the air against the eagles

And because Eli doesn't do anything else besides give it to Saquon

Not sure who told you Zeke wasn't in the same class. Zeke was absolutely considered a generational running back, which is why we drafted him 4th overall to the praise of many fans, who realized he in the right circumstances here, could be far more valuable than a cornerback.

Zeke's still held back by this offense as is the defense.
