Layman only see's what's in front of them, the obvious. Zeke wasn't there, everyone says he's the best player on the team, simple reason why the offense was bad on Sunday

A deep thinker knows this offense would've struggled w Zeke, just like it did in Denver w him, Arizona w him, and even Washington where the Cowboys were extremely lucky on offense. Not to mention Minnesota and New York at the end of last season. 24 combined points with Zeke

Dak plays scared on the road

Talk about Zeke all you won't, but runners are a dime a dozen.

Zeke or not, we're not doing nothing vs this remaining schedule, unless the QB grows a pair.

1. Maybe the pass catchers aren't good enough
2. Maybe the offense design isn't good enough
3. Maybe losing Zeke hurt a little

Doesn't change the fact: Dak has been garbage on the road since the Pittsburgh game on Nov 13, 2016.(He had a decent showing vs a rag tag in San Fran, he made some plays vs Ari, but nothing close to a consistent high level)

Show me something!! Poise!! Any thing but the fear I've seen since Pittsburgh. To honest I seen it that day but he rebounded w a beautiful third and fourth quarters.

I'm tired of watching him look like He-Man at home but then looking like that scary tiger on the road

This is bigger than no Zeke

We have a large sample of him looking petrified on the road w Zeke

Maybe you do have a point. But playing on the road is hard. And if one of the biggest pitfalls of your second year QB is that he plays better at home than on the road, I'd say you're doing alright

It is not so much about Zeke or DeMarco, etc. The problem is that our stale, outdated offensive scheme relies on a bellcow/stud RB. Guys like Morris or whoever would be fine backs, just not in this offense. It not only needs that special back but an Oline as well with a capable QB. Take any one of those away and you see the results.

Dak is good enough to run this offense as long as no one gets injured/suspended on the line or at RB. He is not ready to carry a team through the air. Romo tried his best(10 times the QB as Dak) and got nowhere.

Romo's best season had Murray(his personal best) and lost in playoffs. Dak had Zeke and had the same results as Romo with Murray. See a pattern here?

There is a fundamental flaw in Dallas and it is not with the QB's. If every cog in the wheel is there, the offense flows. But, break one cog, the wheel falls off.

That is because the scheme/system is terrible and outdated. Couple that with coaches who have no innovation or creativity and you see the same results.

Good coaches gameplan for their opponent and attack their weaknesses. Our braintrust does the same thing over and over hoping it is enough with a small wrinkle here and there nevermind who has an injury at that point in time.

Our offense is predicated on an elite run game, so yes, missing Zeke(and Smith) is huge. Again, it needs an elite run game, not just a good one.

Bashing Dak is getting old. Did he not lead us to 13-3 last season with that elite run game? He is more than capable of doing the job but he will never be a Rodgers, Brees or Montana.

There are many reasons why this team never meets expectations but Dak and Romo are not among them. There is one common denominator and that is the GM Jerry which leads to a second denominator in Garrett.

BTW, I only included Romo in this because you liked to rag on him as well. Bottom line...........coaching and a stale offensive scheme hold this team down more than anything.

I don't even want to address the defensive side tonight :D

What was Dak supposed to do last Sunday? He spent 80% of the game running for his life. If they had played on real grass, Dak's jersey would have been green and brown by the end of the game. He spent nearly every pass play on his back.

He was very good on the road in college. Much more hostile environments in the SEC.

This is why I really wanted to see what Dak looked like without Zeke but Tyron not being there really destroys that assessment. We might only have 4 games to accurately assess Dak. Point being - Dallas can not be team with the lesser QB against division rivals Eagles (Wentz) & Giants (likely have top 3 QB pick). I still think Dallas has all of next year to come to conclusion but these 6 games is going to pull curtain back on whats what.

Your left tackle getting man handled all game will tend to make a quarterback look bad. When you start to list Dallas’s problems, Dak is at

You simplified it for all of us, here cowboy fans were thinking the left tackle got man handled, disrupting the entire offense. While the defense was abused without Sean Lee playing. But we now know Dak needed to play better and not be afraid, got it.

Don’t start asking a Dak hater to peel back any layers and critically think...it won’t go well...

The offense doesn't adjust that well. When plan A doesn't work, the offense is in trouble. The real problem was SL and JG didn't provide Green enough help. Didn't go with quick hitting looks and basically failed Dak like they have Romo so many times before.

Jerry might end up an enemy of the shield and thus his time on Earth may be limited.... But, with the change, JG will be put on notice rather quickly. Time to grow up JG, I think a few coaches are looking at Dallas as a good spot even with Jerry and an excellent spot with Stephen.
