Win the "big one"??!!

We just hope Dak can win a game!
On a serious note, Elway was very consistent he posted good stats even before TD came into the league. So there' that...

and Dak had a great rookie year stat wise, so there is that.

I don't get it. I really don't...
From reading the posts here, you'd think Dak had 5,000 yards , 50 TD , went 19 -0 and was the MVP. he had a good year ( for a rookie QB) but let's not blow things out of proportion. The thing is , many said Dak only had "good" stats because Zeke was the focus of opposing defensive coordinators. I guess they were right. Dak has 5 more chances to prove that he doesn't need a zeke.

I don't see this. He had a passer rating of over 100 both on the road and at home last year. This season he is around 97 at home and about 94 on the road. I guess I just don't see this Jeckyll and Hyde difference that you do.

Alex Smith had a great passer rating the year the 49ers benched him for Kapernick. Thing is, Harbaugh knew Smith played scared ( or was very cautious depending on how you see it ) and knew Smith wasn't getting that team into the superbowl.

If passer rating was accurate, Romo would have more super bowls than Eli and Roethlisberger....

I agree that passer rating, and especially QBR, are not the end all/be all that determines how good a QB is....but that was not the argument here.

A poster claimed Dak was a top 3 QB at home and bottom 3 on the road with nothing at all to back the statement up. Without having watched every single game (I’m not a Cowboys fan), I used passer rating to check to see if he was on to something. If he really was that different on the road vs home, at least something would show in the numbers to support the claim....but nothing really stands out. So I take his statement as rather empty

Bottom line: the Cowboys are still the best team in the national football league

Will they continue to squander this season away?

Don't know

It's there for them if they want it!

Only thing i need to back it up is my trained eye and my 'child' like gut instinct
