UDFA signing bonuses

The signing bonuses given to our UDFAs can be a pretty good gauge of what the team thinks of them. This year, each team was allowed to pay UDFAs no more than $76,585 in signing bonuses -- combined. We spent all but the last $85 on the first 21 UDFAs we signed. That means that Jamize Olawale probably did not get a bonus, unless we gave him that $85.

Yhea, and I thought Benford was supposed to be a pretty good pick-up as well. I think Ourlads had a 7th/UDFA evaluation on him.

Players do get reimbursed for transportation costs to minicamps, plus they get room and board (those all count as benefits, not as salary cap costs). So at least they didn't have to pay their own way.
