:laugh2:I was thinking the same damn thing.
I almost pissed myself laughing. The one time Dallas runs a QB sneak, it's on 1st down.
On the plus side it was more productive than many of the other runs of the day.
wasn't the delayed sneak for a TD before this horrendous play?
Not to defend Garrett but I thought the spot was waaayyy generous and was under the impression it was 3rd and one. Granted, I was in a noisy crowded room and not on the sideline....was very confusing
Not sure that was actually a TD though. When ever it was.
looked at the box score, not seeing a Romo TD run. Don't know what I'm talking about, must've been drunk!!:
Romo ran it in for a 2 point conversion.
While I blame JG, doesn't your QB tend to look and see how much he needs for the first down before he snaps the ball on a sneak? :laugh2:
This whole dog and pony show needs to hit the pavement.
Not making excuses.
They never properly marked it or displayed the down and distance.
The sideline was yelling and screaming at the officials and no one knew the situation.
It was funny.
But the truth is, it should have been third down. Witten was a good yard short of the first down marker. No idea why they spotted it the way they did.
Which makes him a perfect match with our GM.
I think Garrett is a buffoon. But that was all on the refs. They never gave a clear signal it was a first down. In fact, it looked like Witten was stopped well short of the marker.
