Outside of last season cause of a rash of injuries, the 49er offense has been among the elite for several years. They have the most physical receivers that excelled in yards catch, along with a homerun back that can score anywhere on the field in which their entire offense was built around.

Lamb/Ferguson are Deebo/Kittles lite.

Burden has been compared to Brandon Ayuik where Henderson has a lot of explosiveness like a McCaffrey or a Gibbs.

This offense would to all about getting chunk plays all over the field.

I like the thought process. It would seem we are copying them somewhat on defense as well.

As far as QB play goes there are some similarities as well. Purdy was more of a pocket passer that didn't rush too much. When he was getting good protection from the OL he looked good but when he didn't he looked about like Mahomes in the SB. Dak's best year was arguably when our OL was playing it's best.

I’d actually switch it…Deebo isn’t on the same planet as Lamb as a route runner let alone WR at this point. Aiyuk is better so I think he’s the closer comp.

Burden would be more of the YAC / Deebo role.

I'm starting to lose hope that Henderson will be available by the time our 2nd round pick comes up. His stock seems to be soaring right now, and I think its well deserved. He may end up the best back from this class.

You know what I am thinking though, yac receivers with a homerun back.

I look at the likes of the Lions, 49ers, Rams type of offensive scheme. Everything is based off their run game, where the QB is usually under center and teams have trouble knowing what is coming. You need the threat of a strong ground game to be effective, which is the still remains the offensive priority this offseason.

After listening to the Cowboys new offensive coaches It appears to me that the Cowboys offense will be more like the “let Russell Wilson cook” offense in Seattle. Power running with play action passing. The Cowboys can go a number of ways with offensive weapons. I wouldn’t be surprised if the board dictates the Cowboys to take care of the defense in this draft. Just to many unknowns.

The draft dictates 2 dtackles and 2 running backs.

Oline played as much of a role in that success as the skill positions. And you saw that this year with Trent Williams being hurt and their continued struggle to replace McGlinchey

Lamb and Ferguson are not Deebo/Kittle

We also dont have an accurate QB and dont have a great OC

Hard to call after Jeanty. Johnson, Hampton and Henderson are all so close for that HB2 spot. We should be able to get one at 44

Everytime Purdy has been without Williams he has been a different QB

If you're not set on a specific RB then yeah I agree this is a great way to go. Just my opinion but Henderson is the gem of that group though. I think he is closer to challenging Jeanty for RB1 than he is Johnson/Hampton.

When have Jerry and Stooges ever had vision or foresight when it came to assembling a roster?

Really like to see them sign Beachum who can play either tackle spot and Will Hernandez. Adds veterans to the young group.
