On the video he doesn't look very fluid which concerns me.

I really don't think he is going to be much of a receiving threat at the next level.

He looks more fluid than Bennett ever looked, and we spent a 2nd round pick on him.

That was also a mistake. What's that saying about two wrongs?

Anyhow, Bennett was a devastating blocker who the Cowboys FO thought they could convert into a good receiver. Bennett delivered in spades on the blocking part so the Cowboys only have themselves to blame on this one. I actually think they compounded the error of not drafting him with the error of not re-signing him. He was a really, really good run blocker. Given that we want to run the ball and play a lot of 2-TE sets I think the FO dropped the ball again.

I don't think Bennett wanted to re-sign with the Cowboys.

He was looking forward to moving on, imo. Wanted a chance to start, etc.

One of those somewhat rare instances where a Cowboys player didn't want to stay with the organization.

I think they have a rule in that conference that the SS is supposed to ignore the TE.

He runs that "Y fly" and no one is near him.

So he's more like Chandler then. Great size but better receiver than blocker. Fiedorowicz sounds like an interesting UDFA project. Would rather take the more athletic and physical blocker in James Hanna from OKL with a late day pick (6th or 7th).
