This 4th quarter is unreal...
What a game, but I have to say, what an incredible lack of defense. Both teams with huge gaffes in the last minute. Amazing.
And since there's been a lot of talk about uniforms with Maryland and the like, these throwbacks are awesome for both teams. And the refs wearing the old-school Ben Hogan style caps are a great touch.
Bad call at the end. Should have been incomplete....but pass interference would have put them on the goal line.
I have three Michigan alums at work. If they lose. YEAH! **** is going to hit the fan! ROFL!
what? He had the ball with possession in bounds.
No he didn't. The defender hit the ball. He had temporary possession twice while inbounds, but didn't have it fully until he had stepped out.
Either way, ND would have found a way to lose.
That emotion, excitement, and atmosphere is why college football>> NFL.
Holy crap. What a game.
And I think that was a catch.
What ever happened to the "luck of the Irish?"
Awesome game to watch. That was a classic. Notre Dame fans aren't going to sleep well tonight.
That was a catch all the way imo. He had it inbounds, feet down. The ND player then stripped it after the TD.
No defense played whatsoever in the last 2 minutes! Notre Dame has no talent on defense at all outside of Teo. Who was their last LB to be drafted? Even worse, who was their last CB?
Michigan is interesting. They won't contend for the Big 10 title but they'll be competitive and make things interesting.
What. A. Game.
Great game. Both defenses were atrocious late in the 4th.
Because of the 3 TD's inside the final 2 minutes of the 4th, there are two huge plays that aren't being talked about much that both went in favor of Michigan:
- ND forces a fumble on the goal line, and the ball bounces right to Robinson who runs it in for a TD.
- ND on Michigan's 10-yard line and Ree's goes back to pass and the ball literally falls right out of his hand and Michigan recovers.
Watching ND lose in devastating fashion is so satisfying.
I am choked the game wasn't on tv in Canada. Any day the Irish lose is a good day but it is even better when they choke it away like they did.
No BCS bowl for them this year, woohoo
The CB coach for the Irish has to be Campo. And number 4 for the Irish has to be Newman. He never looked back for the ball, like Campo teaches and Newman perfected.
ND's defensive secondary sucks.
How do you let Robinson complete a long pass with seconds in the game? Let him scrabble. Just keep him in front of you and the clock winds down.
Then No. 4 has no awareness of the receiver going up to make a play, the winning touchdown. That guy had no corner instincts.
But, yeah, it was a great game.
Obviously Hate Michigan...but what a fantastic finish.
Heck of a game, really enjoyed it but would have enjoyed it a bit more had ND pulled it off.
