As of Now Do We Still Need To Sign or Draft A Backup QB?
Yes, only if we are done with Rome AND Henson, and we plan on trading and or releasing both....which isn't going to happen
No, Not unless we're done with one or the other, which may be possible, a trade or outright release of one or the other.
We need a quality backup, imo......Not another unproven young QB backing Bledsoe up. If Bledsoe goes down, we are DONE.
We definitely need to sign or draft another QB...definitely.
One's season should not go totally down the tubes due to an injury at the position...most teams have a backup that can hold the fort for a few games or at least give you a chance to win.
We have nothing but developmental guys...that's not what you're supposed to have for your backup QB.
My answer is yes because the Cowboys are making a SB run this year. To lose Drew Bledsoe in the middle of this year (yes, he's tough but injuries happen nonetheless) would be a disaster. I'm not throwing rocks at Romo or Henson here but I want a guy with experience ready to come in should something happen.
