Conjoined twins born at a hospital in India appear to share everything below their two, separate heads, hospital officials told ABCNews.com.

"Yes this report is perfectly true that we have delivered a female baby having two heads," Dr. Ashish Sehgal, the CEO of Cygnus JK Hindu Hospital, told ABCNews.com in an email. "She is presently alive and healthy."

Makes me sad having just had a child, but at least this is in India. Perhaps the Hindus will think shes the reincarnation of some deity.

The article is confusing as it refers to birth as being both a single child and twins, "she is alive." It sounds as if it should be, "they are alive."

I suppose in this case the concept of the individual will be ambiguous until the advent of distinct and separate personalities are observed.

I don't know, the head on the right appears photoshopped.

    Maybe I'm wrong.

It's ABC news, so I hope that they did some verification, though it would not surprise me if they failed to.

Probably. There's a set like that in the US. Pretty sure they aren't Thing 1 and Thing 2.

Man, everybody gets one shot at life, .. and you have to spend yours with two heads.

Tough to be dealt that card.
