You are correct...it could get better.
Agreed....the way Ryan talks about Eberflus it seemed like man love between the two would be too strong to keep them apart as long as Rob had a DC or HC job. :laugh1:
S/T gave up 3 touchdowns last season, are you saying we could give up more ? I don't ever remember a Cowboys team giving up that many TD's.
Smell ya later. That guy was massively overrated.
This. This....and this!
That drives me nuts. Just beat them to the 20 and if there's a hole find it otherwise, call it a day. I have never understood putting running backs at KR who approach KR's like running plays...
Special teams is more than just giving up 3 TDs.
You could give up a great deal more yards and have the opponents average starting position better for them. You could get less on all returns and have our average starting position worse for us.
We have given up return TDs with other ST coaches so even if three is the TOPS...it would not be tops by much.

Cowboys allow special teams coach Joe Decamillis make lateral move to Chicago bears as expected. He has been wanting out. They let him go
Any word of who they might be targeting to replace him?
or they are adding it to john garrett's duties.
yea, he's got some revolutionary ideas
Wes Phillips. He can be the OL coach and ST guy!
Spaulding: I want a Kick Returner, I want a punt returner, I want a gunner I want a...
Jerry Jones playing Judge Smails: You'll get nothing and like it.
As if Jerry Jones would have blocked any present coach from taking a job elsewhere. Seriously.
And that includes Garrett. I'm sure JJ would let Garrett interview with any other team and leave. Preferably to Garrett. Not that any team in their right mind would even consider Garrett for QB coach.
in all seriousness I have not heard any names.
If you look at the guys who he has been on staffs with.
Keith Armstrong the current Atlanta st coach who interviewed in jax for hc is probably the best among them but I think he is still under contract.
steve Hoffman is the st coach in Oakland.
haven't heard any names yet though.
They blocked Coach D last year from interviewing with Oakland.
JJ soon learned from his mistake last year. After this season, JJ wouldn't (or shouldn't IMO) block any coach from leaving, and that includes Garrett.
They can all leave, no one will miss them.
Why would he want out?
No need in keeping someone that doesn't want to be here. Let him go.
