Both were great but benny hill was a comedic genius.
Nothing and no one is as quotable as a good python skit.
"Second-hand electric donkey bottom biter!"
Bring out your dead!
Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.
I loved Benny Hill as a kid (I was always hoping to see a boob), but Monty Python is sublime. I still manage to watch each of the movies a couple times a year.
python by a mile just watch the Argument Clinic
But I'm not dead yet
Python and it's not even close.
Afred "Benny" Hill
“Girls are like pianos. When they're not upright, they're grand.”
Every Englishman I ever talked to about it was embarrassed by Bennie Hill. Of course, there is 'My hovercraft is full of eels!'
Benny Hill for me.
Good point! Should be all the reasoning you need to pick Benny Hill.
Nice service return!
LOVED Benny Hill...but in this case, put him in the Comfy Chair because Python takes the cake.
It's not really fair though because Benny had a few regulars but for the most part it was just him, where Python had the gang.
Python, and by a very long way.
Benny Hill was funny, but ultimately only had one gag (although he did play it very well)
liked both and also liked the paul hogan show but Python when you could understand them were very good
