What are the chances that in this year's draft OUR TOP RATED CENTER drops to the 3rd round? They generally don't get drafted highly unless they are a once on a decade type of player. You generally don't see a center drafted at all in the first round.

I'd say both Barrett Jones and Frederick go in the 2nd with Khaled Holmes or Schwenke being there for us in the 3rd. So no, the top rated C won't be available in the 3rd but a couple of good ones will be.

Uusally you're right and there may be none in the first round this year unless Barrett Jones slips in at the end.
But at least 2 and maybe 3-4 will be gone by the time we pick in the 3rd round.

    1-15 Mike Pouncey
    1-18 Maurkice Pouncey
    1-21 Alex Mack
    1-29 Nick Mangold

If Barrett Jones and Travis Frederick were Guards only, I think they would be in the 3rd round. Because they are Centers, I think they will get selected earlier than some Guards that are otherwise better players.

Travis Frederick shouldn't even be looked at by Dallas. No way he fits the scheme here.

People need to start looking at David Quessenberry. Played every position on the OL but will not be able to play OT in the NFL. He would be a great fit at Center in the zone scheme.

I didn't say never. But my guess is that there are there are a lot more years that a center doesn't go in the first round.

Love the Schwenke kid. Looks like a great fit in Callahan's scheme and is versatile.

    It's slightly more than 50-50 since 2006 (4/7 or 57%).

I'd be fine with either one of those.

what scheme is that exactly because i still dont think they know what they want.
Taking Nate Livings in FA last year went against everything i thought they wanted in their new OL men.
