Can treyvion henderson be the next jamal charles or chris johnson?

Didn’t Chris Johnson run a 4.3? Henderson is being projected to run 4.48.
I think a more accurate comparison would be Deandre Swift… hopefully he’s a bit more durable!

Henderson is tough to peg

Can he be a bell cow with consistent production against top competition?

IMO he might be great or just average
Very tough to know

OSU had to bring in Judkins to win it all

If we come out of this draft without one of these RBs Jeanty,Hampton,Johnson or Henderson it will be a big fat fail

Just watched Harvey and the Mullings kid. I must say, this years RB class looks very deep and diverse. Mullings is a big tall bruiser that runs with bad intent. Much faster than you would think for his size. Harvey is shifty and seems to be elite with his vision. He sees it and goes. His feet are special too. Jump cuts are hard to teach and he does this well.

Prime Chris Johnson had a different gear than any defender in the league. He destroyed angles in ways that didn't even look possible. IMO, the only current guy you could compare him to is Tyreek Hill.

Henderson is fast, but he's "normal" fast. He probably runs like a high 4.4, low 4.5. That's quality NFL speed for an RB his size, but it's a long ways from CJ2K and his low 4.2 wheels.

Chris Johnson had patience and vision that gets overlooked because of his speed, but those attributes made him elite. I don't know if Henderson has that type of feel.

Wow. I didn't realize Henderson was that slow. Not that 4.48 is slow, but I thought he might hit closer to the 4.3s than the 4.5s.

I guess we'll see what he does at the combine.

In any case, I think he could be gone by the 3rd round and I don't think we need to draft a RB before then.

Projection off of what? Let’s see Henderson runs at the combine. The mysterious timed 40 in high school or spring practice does nothing for me.

Wait until the combine. These projected times (good or bad) are all dubious.

Anyone of the first 4 RBs is a win for us. Jeanty, Hampton, Johnson, or Henderson.
I woild really like to doubledown and grab Martinez as our goaline and spell the main runner.
That would really be a win for this lineup. Especially. If they go 2nd or third round our leed back.
Jeanty would be a homerun, any one of the other 3 would be a great start. And Henderson may be the best fit, combined with a bruiser later in the draft.
However we do it, we can't screw this up !

Yeah I don't think Henderson is quite that fast, but has plenty of speed/acceleration to play at the NFL level. I bet he goes round 1. He has burst, smooth runner, makes good cuts, pretty good receiver (although it seems OSU mostly had him run shorter routes), and honestly might be one of the better blocker of this years RB class. The knock is he is a little undersized, and might not be a true workhorse 300+ rushes guy. I'm not as worried about that simply because the NFL seems to be a 2 back league these days unless you have Barkley or Henry.

I think he can be used in a Jahmyr Gibbs type of way. Henderson probably has a little less wiggle in his game, and is stronger in pass pro, but I think its a reasonable comp.
