If Claiborne starts slipping to 6-9, any chance cowboys move up to get him?
I think he would have to fall out of the top 10 before we had a real chance.
Yes. But I really don't see him falling past five.
I think we'd make a move at 9.
I agree. The Bucs are going to lose Talib to jail and Rhonde to the rocking chair.
We have too many holes to fill to spend draft picks to move up..if our choice isn't there at 14 we need to maybe move down for picks
The Bucs would do themselves well to add Brandon Carr and then Claiborne in the draft.
Barely skip a beat at CB.
Agree with everyone else. Don't see him falling that far and if he does we better be ready to trade up
Only two times to ever trade up:
1. The team is 1 player away from Championship.
2. The team needs a franchise QB and one is available.
When you never trade up:
1. When the team is trying to acquire about 4-5 starters in the draft.
If we sign our needs in free agency I don't see why we wouldn't move up and take a shot on claiborne
Isn't Claiborne right up there talent-wise with his former teammate, Patrick Peterson? I remember this time last year everybody was saying to trade up to get him. Was that because he was a 5-10 range pick and we were sitting at 9? I can understand if the jump from 14 would be too steep. He does look like a superstar in the making.
IMHO Clairborne is a much better CB than Peterson. If for some reason he gets near the 10 range jumping up to get him has to at least be a consideration.
I'd love to move up to get that kid if we thought we could but I just don't see it happening.
