    Barron in demand
Lots of opinions in the late afternoon on possible Cowboys' targets, with the New England Patriots figuring heavily in the discussion.

Patriots beat writer Tom Curran says in this clip that the Patriots would consider moving up to acquire Alabama safety Mark Barron, and would have to leapfrog the Cowboys to ensure they get him.

That's possible, but if they want Barron, getting to pick 13 may not be high enough. The Seahawks also might consider Barron at 12.

If the hoodie likes Brockers, makes me feel a little better bout him.

Cowboys should swoop in and take Coples in that scenario. A double digit sack DE is much more valuable than a good S.

does decastro become the next favorite?

would kuechly have any chance of being the pick?

DeCastro would almost have to be the pick at that point, unless our war room is full of idiots.

If Barron goes before Dallas picks then it means another player falls. Could end up being DeCastro and I would be totally fine with that.

I think DeCastro will be at #14 regardless. I think if he is there, they try and move back. If they can't then he would be the pick.

    1st option: Cox
    2nd option: barron
    3rd option: trade back
    4th option: DeCastro

I believe so, and they would play him at Center.

Do the Cowboys think he can play center in the NFL. I know coming out of high school he was the 3rd ranked center, with that, why did he not play center at Stanford?

Don't know much about their program. Do they have a stud center?

    Cox
    Barron
    DeCastro as center
    Brockers

unless some one falls they didn't expect to be there

Most likely they had a scholarship Junior or Senior there when he arrived and needed a RG.

I assume you are pointing towards Coples, and Ingram.

Gotcha. I would hope that the homework has been done. Would hate to draft someone at 14 and have them switch positions and find out it doesn't work.

On the other hand, he would just move over to guard and compete with the other 4 we already have.

And with a Wisconsin begining as well, both Peter Konz and Kevin Zeitler would have the ability to man the complete offensive line's interior.

Double digit sacker in a 3-4? Very doubtful.

Bernadeau also can play Center, and I wouldn't sleep on us drafting Blake in the 4th. We really do like him.

I have Blake in all my mocks. I would see us trading down in the 3rd and grabbing him. I think he and Broyles are pet cats of the front office.

If both are gone, the Cowboys are probably trying like heck to get out of the 14th pick and down somewhere late in the 1st. Everything I'm reading says there really isn't much difference between 10-30. Obviously there would have to be a player on the board at #14 that another team really likes to make a trade scenario even possible.
