IRVING — Anthony Spencer says he has a strained pectoral muscle. On the Cowboys’ official practice report, it lists him as having an injured shoulder. The outside linebacker was one of six players who did not participate in practice Thursday.

The others who were sidelined were defensive end Kenyon Coleman (knee), center Phil Costa (back), safety Matt Johnson (hamstring), punter Chris Jones (left knee) and nose tackle Jay Ratliff (ankle). Meanwhile, safety Gerald Sensabaugh (calf) and linebacker Alex Albright (neck), who were inactive during the Cowboys’ victory over Tampa Bay on Sunday, were both limited.

Spencer better be very careful with that strained pec. If that tears, it is a season ending injury.
