I hate to ask dumb questions, but hey, why stop now:p What does the off season starting 4/21 mean exactly?

I have no idea, so I'll cosign your dumb question. Maybe the coaches and staff have to start working regular hours again come the 21st. I'm sure after the season, only the minimal number of people show up at the facilities.

At least now some players know to schedule their surgeries and rehab by that date.

Can't wait to hear about "100% participation" and how "everyone is invested" and how "it feels different" this year.

hopefully the coaches and scouts ALL are required to work 12-hour days (minimum) to prep for the draft...keep doing mock, after conversation, after mock, after conversation until you hash out the big board

Typical Watkins, when he does provide information, it's incomplete.

"Phase One (April 21st) consists of the first two weeks of the program, with activities limited to strength and conditioning and physical rehabilitation."

Well, Twitter does limit the amount of text you can put into a tweet, so that could have played a part.

To be fair, it's just a tweet. There's always a follow-up article when they just tweet something like this. It wasn't posted until later when I was busy.
