He's good, but not good enough to keep waiting year after year. Keep drafting RBs and sign undrafted RBs. Luckily, we might find another Murray (who can stay healthy) or possible Morris/Martin.
A lot closer to track star than lunch pail types like Rice/Martin.
Do all you guys think the same thing about Lee?
That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. Mine is he will. We'll wait and see won't we?
I'm starting to think that, actually.
I do as well, regrettably. :
Until these guys prove otherwise, they will always be considered liabilities health-wise. That is why the Cowboys need to stick with their current draft policy of taking the best player on their board regardless of need.
As I said in post #26, no. I'm one of Sean Lee's biggest supporters. I did even before we drafted him.
Why Rice ran a 4.4, Murray got hurt that is just part of the game any player can go down at any moment.
So true and only in his 2nd year.
Murray is a very good back and many who cover the game can see that as well. Yes he got injured it happen but that does not mean he will always be injured. People throw these labels around to damn quick. Sucks he got hurt that is the NFL, players get banged up especially RB who get rolled up on in these piles along the line of scrimmage. If he is lucky he will not suffer many more injuries but it happens and there is nothing anyone can do about it
So why are you getting so worked up about it? :laugh2:
Point is: If he's healthy he helps the team and, if not, he doesn't. Nothing more to it than that regardless of what we think.
dude was injured his entire college career too. never played a full season.
exact same problem with Lee.
They are flashes in the pan, even though i hate to say it.
love watching them play, but I've seen plenty of great players over the years
wash out because of injuries. Again, the difference between a pro-bowler, and a
flash in the pan, is injuries. period point blank
Murray will play some against Cleveland, in my opinion
Not worked up about it at all. Hell I have been watching knee jerk comments long enough.
As for your point that is the case with all starting players.
wouldn't surprise me, honestly i'd save him for thanksgiving.
if we can't beat the browns without murray, then we can't beat the saints, steelers, or redskins with myrray
I've been wanting Murray back for weeks now, even called out his toughness, seeing Emmitt use to play with a separated shoulder and other injuries but I also don't want to rush him back just so he re injures his ankle.
I guess a healthy Murray will do us more good than a one footed Murray.
is it his foot or ankle?
