According to NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora, some teams are now considering a trade up to No. 5 to jump ahead of the Rams for fast-rising DT Fletcher Cox.

Defensive tackles annually go higher in the actual drafts than the mocks. In that sense, Cox's fast rise should surprise no one. NFL Films analyst Greg Cosell calls Cox the best overall defensive lineman in the draft, with the "natural athleticism and body flexibility to develop into a quality pass rusher." The question is whether interested teams can meet the compensation demands of the Vikings, Browns, or Bucs.

    We'll see.

The nice thing is, the DL prospects people were touting most of the year will then be available to us at 14. Either way, we win.

I think there's now 20 guys going in the top 10 with at least 20 going in the last 10 picks of the 1st. Par for the course this time of year I guess. It will be interesting to see how it all works out. Holy cow I can't wait til Thursday.
