The 2011 salary cap is expected to be $120.375 million, and the Cowboys are projected to be anywhere from $15-20 million over the limit. They've got some work to do to get under so they can re-sign their own veterans and potentially sign new ones.

According to the tentative 2011 calendar released last week by the NFL -- after the owners approved the new CBA but without the players' ratification -- teams may "borrow" up to $3 million in cap room from a future year, as well as use the $3.5 million from the performance-based pay system to fund player salaries.
