WHAT: Dallas Cowboys (2-7) vs. Detroit Lions (2-7)
    WHEN: Sunday, noon (CT)
    WHERE: Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, Texas
TELEVISION: FOX (Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston and Tony Siragusa)

BIG ISSUE: The Cowboys' victory against the NFC East-leading New York Giants last weekend gave Dallas something it hadn't had for at least a month: a spark.

NUMBERS, PLEASE: The Lions and Cowboys have identical records and are starting their backup quarterbacks, but the similarities don't just end there.

ONE-ON-ONE: If you take out DeMarcus Ware's eight sacks this season, the Cowboys' defense has only compiled nine sacks.

SUPPORTING ROLE: Kevin Smith (thumb) won't play Sunday, and Best's toe has been bothering him, so the Lions might need to rely on backup running back Maurice Morris.

HEADSET GAMES: The Lions have a plus-3 turnover ratio, which ranks tied for 12th in the league. Yet they are just 2-7 this season.
