IRVING – One wide receiver is 6-2, 215 pounds. The other is 6-3, 228 pounds. One has top-end speed. So does the other. One wide receiver can turn a short gain into a big play. So can the other. One wide receiver signed a gigantic contract extension this summer. So did the other.

The biggest difference between Miles Austin and Andre Johnson is how they entered the NFL. Johnson was the third overall pick in 2003 out of Miami; Austin was undrafted out of Monmouth in 2006.

Yet now they find themselves near the top (Austin) or at the top (Johnson) whenever a list of the best wide receivers in the NFL is made.

I'm happy as heck Miles Austin is a Dallas Cowboy! He's become the best player on offense in my opinion.
