News: DMN: Observations from Day 4 of Cowboys training camp practice

    Here's what I saw from the Cowboys' fourth afternoon training camp practice Sunday at the Alamodome in San Antonio:

    • Backup LB Victor Butler stole the show all day. Early on, he penetrated the backfield on two running plays and was in position to make a tackle for loss. Later, he twice rushed the passer and would have sacked the quarterback both times.

    • CB Mike Jenkins intercepted a poorly thrown Romo pass on a quick pass out to the flat intended for WR Manuel Johnson. Romo had to hurry because of pressure, and Jenkins stepped right in front of Johnson for the interception and would have returned it all the way.
