The 2004 Eagles were not terrible at all. They were 13-3 and had a heck of a defense and TO in his prime. They should have really beat NE in that Super Bowl,

They will. Romos the best qb to ever play for the cowboys.

So Romo is the same as Anthony Wright, Clint Stoerner, Ryan Leaf, Quicny Carter, Vinny T & Chad Hutchinson? You are only a good/great QB if you win a championship?

Dan Fouts, Sony Jurgensen, Fran Tarkenton, Warren Moon, Jim Kelly & Dan Marion would probably disagree with you.

We dont retire numbers, we aren't a small time franchise with 2 or 3 decent players in our history.

If 8, 12, 74, 22, and 88 aren't retired, why are we having this discussion?

Clearly he has the mental capacity. This is not about if he is smart enough to understand it or grasp it. This is about if he is unselfish enough to accept certain things. That's a different thing all together and has nothing at all to do with his mental capacity.

I wasn't around when he played but I agree with you based on what he did.

I am saying that it has been a long time since Dallas has won anything regardless of who has been the starting QB. At the end of the day the ultimate goal is to win the Lombardi. The only difference between 5-11 and 9-7 is draft positioning in my estimation.

As for as having to win a championship in order to be considered a great QB. I don't think Trent Dilfer is a great QB. Great QB's have a way of standing out, Fouts, Marino and Kelly are good examples. While none won a championship they really stood out despite the lack of a ring.

    Same here...
This is the best the Eagles can do...

They'll boo McNabb at the ceremony.

Nobody wears 12, 8 or 74. They may not be retired but nobody wears those numbers.

It's a funny thing we have had 2 HOF'ers wear 22 and yet it does not get the same reverence as 12,8 or 74.

I don't think of Romo as a selfish person at all on the field or off the field. I just simply think it comes down to his mental capacity. I don't think he is football smart. It's cool, we just disagree.

Their QB isn't part of the problem because their QB isn't asked to do so much with so little, that's been the case for years ever since Romo has been here. It'd be like me giving you lemons and asking for you to make me orange juice, it's just not going to happen.

Also you've already said before that you'd take Alex Smith over Romo, that shows how much you know about QBs and their situations that they're in. :D
