Only the Saints/Niners game was better IMO.
Flacco may very well end up sucking next week. But don't forget, he outplayed Brady last year in the AFC championship game, also played in NE.
anyone that knows anything about football understands the helmet play was the same thing as a Hail Mary. He threw it up and was lucky enough that Tyree made the play of his life on it.
But givng credit to Eli? On any Hail Mary play all the QB does it heave it out there. And no QB should be given credit OR BLAME for what happens on a play like that
Never said Eli was better, but Brady IS
Flacco is a strange case no doubt.
Like I said earlier, the guy is a complete enigma.
He passed Romo today in my mind
Well, if you read the part where the two Superbowl appearances were mentioned, you should be able to figure out how he's done in the playoffs.
Never thought Peyton would have Romoed it.
Peyton is smarter than that and I expected he would have lived too see 3rd down.
I think this is the year that Flacco and Ryan emerge.
Flacco is a bit of a poor man's Eli. Stats don't necessarily measure him very well.
You're spot-on about the pass. Eli did make a hell of a play just to get the ball off there, however.
Peyton Manning will finish his career with one SB
I think blame can go to John Fox or whomever decided to step off the throttle and mix it up on any important 3rd down in the last 30 minutes of the game. A joke.
Nope, Jimmy Hines is the fastest player in NFL history, based on official 100-meter dash times. Hines ran a 9.95. Trindon Holliday is second at 10.00. Hayes is tied with Ron Brown for third at 10.06.
In the grasp.
Ver good game! A few bad coaching calls by denver at towards the end of regulation though!
Turned out that way, huh?
The game shouldn't even have come down to Manning. Denver pulled a choke job on defense first. A greater joke job than even our defense ever pulled and that's saying something.
No logical sense.
1. The Broncos beat the Ravens by 17 IN BALTIMORE. Cupcake win for them.
2. Baltimore is MUCH better at home then on the road.
3. Baltimore had only 6 days rest (short week)
4. Baltimore beats Denver at Denver...one of the hardest places in the NFL to win.
No logical sense. The fix is in?
