That's what I am looking for also.
There's a little more to it than that but I agree if the Cowboys can develop a good running game it will make a big difference if they make it to the post season.
Good to see Emmitt reconises the importance of a running game to win. Funny I was watching Peyton Manning post game talked about the importance of the run game to keep the defense off balance. Everyone agrees you got to be able to pass but running still matters in this league and for the Cowboys a running game is big if they expect to get to post season and do something in post season. If not then defense will just get after Romo. Not hard to figure out
We may finally have a decent enough OL we can run consistently.
My bad - I thought I put it in there. Here is the LINK
Sorry about that.
That kind of made me laugh Dooms.
Amen brother E.Smith....
If we can get our coach and o-coordinator to see it the same way we'll be golden.
The running game matters just as much as it always has.
You have to be able to run effectively and this offense demands it. Still in general you must pass defend and run your pass offense better than the other team. Our pass offense depends on the run more so than some other offenses but many teams run some variation of the vertical offense. Most here don't insist the run offense is unimportant. It's just not more predictive than running re wins. But you can't divorce the run from the pass or vice versa.
