Cowboys hope CBs will be healthy vs. Lions November, 15, 2010 Nov 155:40PM By Tim MacMahon http://espn.go.com/blog/dallas/cowboys IRVING, Texas -- The Cowboys played most of Sunday's game with backup cornerbacks. They hope to have a full complement of corners when the Lions come to town this weekend. Mike Jenkins did not return after spraining his neck against the Giants "but seemed like he was doing better today," interim coach Jason Garrett said. Terence Newman sprained his left ankle and was limited to playing in the nickel package during the second half. Garrett offered high praise for reserve cornerbacks Bryan McCann and Orlando Scandrick. McCann's 101-yard touchdown interception was the biggest play of the game. Scandrick played well throughout the game, highlighted by breaking up a pass intended for Ramses Barden in the end zone in the second quarter.
