PHILADELPHIA -- Chip Kelly joked this week that he never saw Sean Lee wreaking havoc while he was studying the USC defenses the last few years. It was Kelly’s way of downplaying the relevance of his success against Cowboys defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin at the college level, pointing out that personnel mattered much more than scheme. It was a much more prescient comment than the Eagles coach would have preferred. Lee, the Cowboys’ middle linebacker, headlined a dominant defensive effort in Dallas’ 17-3 victory Sunday afternoon.

I would say that, on the majority of interceptions, the offense does something really, really wrong. On Lee's play, he simply outsmarted the QB and jumped the route. Great play...similar to the one he had against Peyton a few years back. Guy might be comfortable enough now to run around and start making plays rather than worry about his assignements.

Lee is the Cowboys defensive leader on and off the field.

Lee is 2nd in the league in tackles (71 total - only 3 behind the leader). He leads all LBs - including SF's dynamic duo of Willis and Bowman. Lee is having a Pro Bowl season. Keep it up man!

McCoy has been the best running back in the league this season, but Lee was the best player at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.

Lee is the reason the Cowboys can play so much 2 man under now. Man coverage can leave a defense susceptible to the run game. Lee's speed and sound tackling nullifies any advantage an offense might gain by running the ball.

Church is the 2nd Safety on that list, behind Earl Thomas. Not bad.
