ARLINGTON, Texas -- Sean Lee missed the final three games of the Dallas Cowboys' regular season because of a neck injury but the team does not believe the injury will affect the middle linebacker's offseason preparation. "We think this is a time thing," coach Jason Garrett said. "We don't think it's a surgery thing." Lee suffered a sprained ligament in his neck in the Dec. 9 loss to the Chicago Bears. The Cowboys kept hoping Lee could return for a possible playoff appearance and did not place him on injured reserve.

Freakin' china doll... Another wasted contract dished out. I dream of the day when Jerry Jones is no longer the owner/GM

Said Garrett: "We think this is a time thing. We don't think it's a surgery thing."

Translation: Sean Lee will have neck surgery a month before training camp starts and won't play until November.

Like you don't think any gm would have resigned him rather than allowing him to enter his FA year?

I don't even want him to play until mid-season so he can be there for the close of the season.

In the last 3 years he's never there.

He out. Like Austin always is.

    Don't get me going.
