The Cowboys tried to replace Campo last season with Ray Horton, who was the secondary coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers. But Horton became the defensive coordinator of the Arizona Cardinals.

Houck is the highest paid offensive line coach in the NFL, at $1 million a season, and it appears he along with Maxie, the safeties coach will return.

So we aren't bringing in any draft picks or FAs on the OL?

I get frustration, but not when it leads to vapor lock.

I don't understand where the "likely" came from. Where does it say that?

It says he met with his coaches. That's it.

Boy I can't wait for all these changes to take place. We'll get an infusion of new coaches and players and erase this cloud that....what....they're coming back....but I thought.

    Never mind.

I really hope Houck isn't back. It pretty much rules out Sparano coming here.

    FTA..

"It isn't known if these coaches were retained by Garrett, but Campo, the secondary coach offered a "no comment" when asked about his status with the team. "

Good job, Calvin. Why do I want to punch this guy in the face repeatedly?

I hope this is just writer's BS as usual, all of them, and a few others need to go.

    Figures.

The thought of getting a guy who's style isn't outdated was just too much I suppose.

Not only are you clueless as to the role of a NT but you also lack basic reading comprehension.

    Good job, bruh.

After reading the article, I agree...the TC completely made up the title. Nowhere did it say they were coming back and Campo's 'no comment' leads to them likely NOT coming back.

I can't say who or what but I promise everyone who is panicking that Houck will not be working alone. His replacement will be very active and right by his side.

You will be fine with it once the logistics of Houcks return come to light.

I'm guessing the Houck and Maxie comment came from off-the-record remarks from someone. Maybe even Houck himself.

No one should be surprised, though. It's been written many times how close Garrett is to him... "Best friend in coaching" and all.

And I never caught where Houck claimed he was retiring anyway.
