    Position: Wide receiver

How acquired: Undrafted free agent, SMU

What he did: Beasley quickly made a name for himself in the offseason but walked away from the team for a few days in training camp when he was not sure he wanted to continue. The Cowboys welcomed him back and he made the 53-man roster.

Beasley was active for 12 games and finished with 15 catches for 128 yards while working in the slot. He earned the trust of Tony Romo during the preseason and the quarterback pitched for Beasley to play more as the season went on when the Cowboys went to an empty look.

Honestly would have liked to see more of Beasley at the end of the season then Ogletree. Everyone knows its the end of the road for Ogletree in Dallas.

I like the kid and hope he keeps improving. Good depth and change of pace guy.

Yeah, he seems to have a role here. Of his15 catches, 12 came in the second half of the year (seven of them in the first Washington game). That's pretty decent production for a rookie 5th receiver, given his limited playing time.

He needs to make best friends with Mike Woicik and come back ready to contribute next year.

Him, Coale, and Harris are interesting options at receiver. Still interested in Tim Benford's potential too.
