After the comment I bolded, I have to seriously doubt your football knowledge.
I'm more shocked that they had that many to pick the Cowboys.
Who cares! We got Irvin on our side, nobody else matters!
Would any of you seriously take Sproles over the true top 5 RBs in the NFL ?
Add in the rookies in Trent and Alfred...
I doubt it.
Keyshawn picked Dallas???
Does he dislike RG3 more than he dislikes Dallas?
So you only have him listed as eight in the league? They should cut his useless ***. And you should take you head out of yours. He's an asset to any team and can return the ball. Stop letting you homerism blind the truth. Guy can ball and is a huge red zone target.
Absolutely you can. Roll the dice...
So Larry Brown should be a HOF player ?
Ehh...not really. A flash here and there does not make a great or special player.
But sure question it. Go for it if you want.
I don't know about top 4, top 12, whatever, but I thought the Saints team was significantly better than your Redskins team on offense.
And, while Sproles is a very good back, the issue with him was more the matchup problem he posed for our inside backers given the attention their wideouts and TE demand. The Saints have the weapons to stretch teams out and isolate the coverage problems, and then the QB to exploit them. It's very different from the problems the Sk*ns can create. You guys have an excellent offense in its own right, but it's one we match up with a lot better with our injuries on D if we're able to contain your running game sufficiently.
So you have him beyond the top 5 also. So we at least agree there.
8 at best.
Nothing to do with being a homer.
Watch all the games. You will learn more than you ever thought you could.
I record them, and watch them.
I understand you have his back.
And I realize the weapon that he can be. But seriously...
He is not a top 5 back and at best 8. Probably lower.
That is reliant on the rest of the team. Brees gives them a cushion. Same as other teams over the years have had that benefit.
Sproles is a good player. One of those guys who can be a matchup nightmare under the right circumstances, but, no, he's not a top 5 back in his own right. It didn't matter, though, we didn't have the players to cover him after dedicating so much to try to contain their WRs and TEs. He ate us alive.
You can't be that delusional.
Brees is twice the pure pocket, precision passer than Rob will ever be. The OL and Receivers are night and day. Graham is match up nightmare and the skins have nothing that compares.
Yeah, September is a meaningless game with nothing on the line. That's when Romo is at his best.
Whatever special needs, you see everything through burgundy coloured glasses and it dulls your senses to a nub. Sproles is garbage and Morris is top five in your eyes. Kyle is probably top five OC to right?
He is a good player. As good as a Reggie Bush. Definitely a weapon, but not a top player at the position to me, I could be wrong here.
Besides the TE where is New Orleans so much better ?
Redskins OL have produced one of the top rushing teams in the NFL (Morris and RG3 didn't do that on their own).
I think the poster that said that was saying the Redskins were not as good...the Redskins already beat that team.
And "Rob" is sitting at what type of accurate level now ?
Remember he is only a rookie.
Wow. Kyle is a better OC compared to what the Cowboys have at this point.
I never said Sproles was garbage. Read, watch, learn.
Never said Morris was top 5 either. Wow.
Slow it down. Read.
I don't wear glasses and will only have to wear them for reading...20 years from now. My wife on the other hand...(I want to get her lasick, but she loves her glasses) I don't think I can win her over.
Everyone forgot about DeMarco Murray...almost everyone.
I did not.
I do take into consideration the beat up defenses and the poor offensive lines...
Side Note for all to read...
It's fun talking smack for a meaningful game for a change. You guys ( and WG), have a good board. I would never have been here for over a decade if that was not the case.
Not going to bash the skins OL since the run game is so strong. But outside of your lt, no one on that line is going to sniff a PB in this lifetime. You've given up as many sacks as us with far more mobile QB a like 150 less attempts.
RG's mobility is the key to the key to the skins rushing success. If he's no more mobile than last week, you're in for a rude awakening.
