So, will he be a Cowboy next year? Yes or no?
Do you think he could possibly be good somewhere else?
It was not his fault he sucked, that evil RB coach conspired against him and Garrett to keep this offense from juggarnaunt status.
Murray sucked too but it doesn't count because he's Murray.
With a good O-Line I think we should keep both backs. They can get the job done.
Thing is, Murray didn't put up good stats this year but anyone with 2 eyes can tell our offense is a lot better with him out there and if Romo doesn't do stupid things.
The guy who showed up fat and out of shape for training camp and fumbles the ball by himself and gets tackled by the turf? I hope like hell he is traded and we get something for him.. I would take a slice of pizza for him at this point.
He's an Unrestricted Free Agent. He can sign with any team once the Free Agency period starts.
No need to re-sign Flix. He can do his thing somewhere else.
We can get the same (or better) production from a late round draft pick. Heck, draft two RB's late in the draft.
Do we get comp picks for him?
The comps picks would be in the 2014 draft.
I think if the price is right Felix will be here next season.
He'll probably go to New England and break the single-season rushing record.
That would be our luck.. but seriously, that would never happen.
If the price is right that works for me.
Not a lot of reason to think he'd be expensive, I would think. The whole league is thinking what we're thinking (don't invest $$$ in an older RB), and it's not like his talent has been showcased of late.
Haha I know...
I think Felix is comfortable making 1-2 million dollars a year, getting a few carries here and there, and just living a comfortable life. I don't think he has real passion to be a great football player.
I totally agree and that's why I don't want him on the Cowboys.
Bingo. He showed that coming into camp out of shape. He just seems like a goofy fun dude, but not a serious football player. I don't want him on the team either.
