He's not durable enough. He was repeat of Julius Jones and thats not going to cut it.

We all had our hopes, but ain't going to happen.

    He's gone.

Besides, we have some cap issues to deal with and if they are actually going to redo Romo's deal, which I pray they won't but will not expect such good fortune..

..then Felix definitely isn't in the shuffle.

Add in Murray and his injury history..we can barely depend on him, either.

So Murray stays with a short lease and we draft the backup. Hopefully around pick #3 thiis year but knowing Jerry..

..he'll trade up higher to get more out of his pick and take one in the second round.

he'll get very little interest in free agency. veteran, unproductive, injury risk, showing up overweight, couldn't carry the load when needed. that's his resume.

Felix Jones Career stats according to wiki:
    Rushing yards 2,728
    Rushing average 4.8
    Receiving yards 1,062
    Receiving average 8.4
    Rushing TDs 11
    Receiving TDs 3

McFadden Career stats according to wiki:
    Rushing yards 3,334
    Rushing average 4.3
    Receiving yards 1,449
    Receiving average 9.2
    Rushing TDs 18
    Receiving TDs 5

In this light, Felix hasn't been too bad. Or McFadden has been horrible.:D

nope. he is what he is. a change of pace back. he has some limitations in his game. give him some lanes and he as the skills to run in open spaces. as a worj horse back, he will always be average. there is no toughness to his game.

and he probably packed his bags along with Peete:laugh2:

I'd bring him back for the right price if he is willing. Even he must realize that he is not a premier back.

Maybe with the right coaching he can be a bigger receiving threat. : )

He's gone IMO. Regardless of the stats, he's a luxury that we can't afford to keep any longer. I think it comes down to that.

I don't think he'll be on the team next year.

There is no need to bring Felix back. You can draft somebody in the 4th or 5th round, sign him to a cheap rookie contract and get better production from him.

Trade Felix to another team for their ugliest cheerleader and then draft a RB in about the 4th or 5th round. Rotate them. Maybe keep Dunbar and Tanner and give them a little playing time.
