You could even go further back that season and say it all started with McKnight tearing up his knee in that late July scrimmage. Had that not happened, at least he and Rocket could have given it a go as the starting receivers. They were headed to 4-0 in that game, and I really believed the way Aikman was getting comfortable in Chan's offense during his second season, we would have ended up in an NFC Championship Game showdown with the Rams.
