I have been told he is not going to get past Seattle at 12. If the Cowboys want him, they will have to move up.

Can you imagine Barron and Thomas in the same Safety sets?

The Seahawks already have a decent secondary, too. Gonna be fun to watch them two play.

    Oh well.

    That stinks.

I hope DeCastro is there then (though I'm really starting to wonder even if we'll pick him at 14).

I like Barron alot, but I do not want us to trade up for him.

Lots of depth in this draft and I'd prefer to let the draft come to us.

    Definitely.

Even with what we did in FA, we still have a couple needs and must improve the overall talent level of this team.

    Told by whom?

GM? Scout? Admin Assistant? I don't want a name and email.... but who?

On a side note, I may have to bring down my expectations for Round 1 at least . . . . It really could be Brockers.

Yeah this is curious considering Cam Chancellor played well for them, is cheaper and their secondary is already pretty decent.

Trade next year's 3rd to move up in front of Seattle. We need Barron.

I'd move up to 11 to get him only 3 spots and wouldn't cost much. But question is do the cowboys really want him???

    Someone with the Seahawks.

By the way please take this with a grain of salt.

Yeah, reading a couple Seahawks forums and he doesn't really seem to be on their radar.

Barron's cap numbers won't be much under the rookie cap. Seattle won't need to worry for 3 or 4 years.

I really think Barron will be there. If he gets past Seattle, he's ours.

    That would be . . . disappointing. :(

Yhea, but it really could be the situation.

I suppose between Poe, Coples, and Brockers that Brockers probably has the least bust potential. We know he can play the run at least and puts out effort.

If we can't trade back, I'm not really sure who we'd want at 14.

I'd take DeCastro if he's there. But I'm getting bad vibes that the organization would prefer to take an OL in a trade down or in a later round.

If Seattle takes Barron, that might mean that Kuechly slips to 14. I wouldn't mind that too much. But with their need at linebacker, Kuechly seems the obvious pick for them.
