    Under a new CBA, the salary cap will likely come in at roughly $120 million, which is $8 million less than the cap in '09. The Dallas Cowboys would be about $19 million over the cap, so Stephen Jones will have some work to do. Keep in mind that teams have always found loopholes in the system to try to create more space. It's hard to envision a scenario in which the Cowboys go after the most coveted player in free agency, cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, but then, a lot of us didn't think Terrell Owens would ever end up on the roster.

    The No. 1 priority in free agency, according to Stephen Jones, is re-signing left tackle Doug Free. The Cowboys chose not to apply the franchise tag to Free, in part because $10 million seems like a lot to commit to a player coming off his first full season as a starter.

    But if a team desperate for a quality left tackle decides to money-whip Free, the Cowboys may regret their decision.
