When the Dallas Cowboys won three Super Bowls in the ‘90’s, successful draft after successful draft was the secret to their success.

But, when Jimmy Johnson left, so did the Cowboys’ winning ways…and his knack for picking the best players to fill any need to keep the team at a championship level.

Since taking over as the team’s General Manager, there have been very few bright spots for Jones in the draft.

Reading that was a total waste of time. Whoever composed that list is mentally challenged. Felix Jones on this list? You got to be kidding.

Heck, only a tool would name Greg Ellis number 1. Perhaps this guy didn't see the Cowboys of the 1990's on, and off, the field. Randy Moss was the wrong move for that team at that time.

Greg had some really good years here while playing for some really bad teams. I appreciate what he did for the Dallas Cowboys organization.

I would put Quincy, the Galloway trade and Goodrich on top of the list.

    Felix? Really?

FJ on the list is dumb. Ellis on the list is just stupid. Goodrich is #1 for me.

I don't see how Ellis could make the list at all, let alone #1. He had a production career here. Compared to some, he was actually a good draft pick.

As for Felix, he shouln't be there either. But man did they pass on a ton a RBs that are smoking him so far. Still, Felix is good and will be better, so no, he does not belong on there.

For the 43rd pick, Julius Jones was average. I see his point about passing on S-Jax in the 1st, but that is a seperate deal than the 43rd pick.

Same argument for Quincey Carter. He was not a 1st rounder...the dude went 53rd. Not a great pick but at 53, they at least got someone who played a little.

I'm not even sure about Ekuban...maybe, I guess.

    What about Sherman Williams?
YES to LaFleur...omg what a waste.
Yes to both trades...man they hurt.
    Yes to Goodrich
    Yes to Carpenter
    Yes to the 2009 draft...horrid

Whether you agree with the list or not, most of the players on the list bring back painful memories. The draft overall hasn't been too kind to Jed since Jimmy left. We've gotten some great players but it really has been a mixed bag with a slight advantage going to the horrible side. As long as Jerry is having fun though...<sigh>

I'd put the other 2 corners from the Goodrich draft on their before Ellis and FJ would even be considered as to whether they were good or bad picks.
