Cowboys tight end Jason Witten still hasn't been cleared for contact, but he will get some on-field work today. Witten lacerated his spleen in the Aug. 13 preseason opener against the Raiders.

The Cowboys also will welcome back cornerback Mike Jenkins when they hit the practice field at 11:45 a.m. Jenkins has been out since undergoing reconstructive surgery on his right shoulder in January.

Both are expected to be limited.

"We anticipate Witten moving around a little bit, catching the football," Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said Saturday morning. "He’s been doing that the last week or so, so we’ll continue with his progression. Same thing with Jenkins. We’re hopeful he can get out there and get comfortable in his first practice."
