    Bass, was never going to play DE, he was a backup DT.

    Long and Cohen are now the back up DT's.

    yep, Chiefs have alot of talent just had really bad coaching & no qb to speak of last year & Rams are a really young & play tough they aren't the same team Murray gashed in his coming out party(which I was lucky enough to see in person :D

    Before Selvie was brought in, Bass took a lot of reps at DE. And Bass is an important part of the DT rotation. Backup DT is not an apt descriptor of his role on this team. Bass is the Jimmie Johnson of this DL.
