You and I both know they CAN do that. It isn't likely in their best interest to do so. I know you feel that it is ok to keep pushing money into the future, but I would personally like to to get out from that. I just don't see it as a healthy business model. I just know they could have made an effort to get a couple of quality young free agents and didn't even make an attempt. Now, we are suddenly interested in older vets. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

He's on his way to being a media darling. You would think the scrub would be more appreciative of the opportunity Jerry gave him. Not this creep. He turns around on mocks the organization.

    Thanks Mike.

I guess he figures this org. is so screwed they actually put me on the field.

What Makes it bad is that he shouldn't even have had those 15 minutes. Hawkins should have won and he might even still be on the team. I knew it before he even won that Hawkins should have won that contest.

They had him on one of the local sports talk radio shows the other day. He started ranting like a call in fan and they had to just kill his connection in the middle of his rant.

You would think the guy would have a better appreciation for the organization that gave him an opportunity like that. I can't understand why any radio station would have this clown on for any reason, he has zero credibility.

    In somewhat related news:

Andrew Hawkins signs four-year, $13.6 million offer sheet with the Browns.
