    So you're saying Romo would have the best numbers of all time with Mcarthy or Payton?

    also depends on where you are drafted. Hard now days to pay out big money to a 1st rd pick and not play him right away. Before caps came into play most teams did sit the QB now it cost too much to have him ride the pine.

    Correct but you can measure the play of an individual, winning is a team thing. A RB can put up big yards for the season to show how good he is as a player however it takes others to win games.

    Brees makes some of the best throws I've ever seen a qb make. Where are you getting this impression of Brees that he's just a system qb?

    The only ones who deserve a spot in Canton so far are P. Manning and Brady.

    you are convienently forgetting just how many other teams passed on him. There was real concern about his shoulder. It is not as easy a decision as you try to claim

    AND we were just emerging from cap hell and Jerruh was not all that ready to throw money at a QB with a possible bad shoulder.

    Just wish Jerruh had stayed that cautious with cap money since then....
