I say we draft rb and cb or wr in the first two rounds

We should address the trenches in free agency unless a future star falls to us. We need a rb. And a wr who can be a one if lamb gets hurt. I'd also upgrade tight end if there's a chance. Ferguson is solid but he looks slower. Maybe go CB then rb. Get a wrong after. Depends how Free agency goes. I don't want a rebuild so use f a to fill some holes. Hopefully Sam Williams can turn into something

I say I don't like you. Other than RB, I don't want to address WR or CB early.

My reasons at CB: We have one CB we're paying handsomely and a second one who has been an All-Pro. I'd rather re-sign Lewis and give players like Carson some time to develop. Of course, with Diggs likely to miss some time coming off injury, I can understand the need for at least a fill-in starter. That's something I'd prefer we address in FA.

My reasons at WR: We have one of the highest-paid receivers in the game, and don't need another No. 1. We do need a quality No. 2, but that's again a position I'd address in FA, especially since this doesn't appear to be a great receiver class.

I say trenches are the way to go in the draft, especially the DL. I do think, though, if we don't get a No. 2 WR in free agency, that we will have to take a WR early in the draft.

The old concept was get your skill players early in the draft because it was easier and cheaper to pay trench guys in FA.

Not so true anymore, all positions are expensive....see Martin - LG..

With the needs this team has at DL, Mike, and RB...........those are the places to look to draft early.

I love one running back in this draft but like three others. I don’t know if all four gets to 44. I am ok with taking two backs with the 3rd and 5th rounds though so I am slowly changing my mind on drafting a runner in the top 2 rounds. I really want a trade back so we can get another top 75 pick. I think the Cowboys can have a Rams like upgrade defensively with how deep this draft is with front 7 players.

If we got into day 3 without taking either OL or DL it’s an epic fail.
It could happen depending on the draft board and how things shake out. The Cowboys could easily go wide receiver 1st, running back second, and cornerback third. You never know.
